Dann 'the djentle giant' Wow! How is it possible that this band is not yet known as the greatest alternative band of the time? It sounds like Placebo, but with a remarkable energy and audacity. This is solid gold... Sahara Surfers is a stoner/alternative must. Take a minute to listen to the song '8.12' and you'll take more than a single minute to listen to the rest of the album Favorite track: 8.12.

Harry Harrison Feel in love with this stuff when I got my hands on a shitty copy back when it all started in 2010. Now I can get a decent copy and throw a little coin at the makers of these great tunes. These guys are more than worth the cost. Colour Jam is one of my all-time favourite grooves. Favorite track: Colour Jam.

Colour Jam 06:12
It came with the light silent and easy passing by It came with the light not even recognized loading up my energy Just a word unspoken and weary you should know oh well you should know It's just a glimpse in time This present is mine

Propeller 03:27
Cut down the mask Hide it there I'm tired of thinking Let them betray you Behind the scenes They throw you up and down and up and down again You still wonder why Sit down and cry Today your whole world will die You couldn't name it it's shame again, again, again It's a fact that you are small I can't be there waiting Let them betray you Behind the scenes They throw you up and down and up and down again You still wonder why Sit down and cry Today your whole world will die

I walk the line 'till the end it feels right though it never came I'm walking fast, close my eyes compense my dreams to a blink in one life As we grow time flys you try to hold it but it slips aside The vision of what I need every day increases with the mind of those who stayed Illuminates the the so meant darkened days to soften the pain it causes on the way The things we bear are like wooden swords they can kill a man but they burn swell The vision of what I need every day increases with the mind of those who stayed Illuminates the the so meant darkened days to soften the pain it causes on the way So silent, oh so silent, oh We're fading away, give ground We lost our minds to a twisted life seeking the truth but are stuck in lies we wait for the world to change our sight spineless and numb to save another... Vision of what I need every day increases with the mind of those who stayed Illuminates the the so meant darkened days to soften the pain it causes on the way

Head high to feel alive Head high to recognize We'll leave you there all alone See you there tonight Failed on a thing called sympathy We miss everything that we thought was right Kill time like a hobo tries Kill dreams for a leap of faith 'Cause we'll get it all along Keep it all inside It's an endless fight Have faith until you break Faith once you've known Well ride on, I said well ride on Failed on a thing called sympathy We missed everything that we thought was right

The wind is rough, so am I I tried to believe what you said to my sister in shade, hidden deep deep down and my soul's for keeping It means I like, sure I don't face to face with a monster and I raised it all alone now I'm calm, looking to what I've done I want to believe that it helps me I came to realize, always passing by, came to realize The sister's waiting in the dark It makes me kneel, but it get's me up swell playing hide and seek unable to breathe unable to speak It's a one man show Seems like everybody knows I came to realize, always passing by, came to realize For the songs I write, for the things I hide, came to realize The same, again the same See-through blind eyes I need peace, paralyzed, greed, I'm torn, away, I like, no, no, no I came to realize, always passing by, came to realize For the songs I write, for the things I hide, came to realize For the things in the world that mean something I want you to understand that I came to realize.

about

Sahara Surfers Innsbruck, Austria

Sahara Surfers have been bringing rock from the desert to the Tyrolean alps. Their debut album very quickly earned them recognition on the stoner rock scene. The skillful combination of psychedelic hooks and driving riffs typical to the genre, accented by the not so genre-typical female singer, immediately struck a nerve in the scene and has landed on open ears both in Austria and abroad. ... more
